The Newark One-Stop Career Center was created by the Newark Workforce Investment board (NWIB) to provide quality, accessible and comprehensive employment and supportive services responsive to the needs of employers, job seekers, and the community. The NWIB designated the City of Newark’s Mayor’s Office of Employment and Training (MOET) as the Operator of the One-Stop Career Center.
